Lambton Jr Sting 3 vs Sun County Panthers 3

The Friday night drive to Windsor didn't break the Sting spirit. After a scoreless 1st the Panthers would start the scoring in the 2nd. By the end of the 2nd, goals by Tim Kaldeway assisted by Zach Van Eyk and Adam Craievich and by Brett Corrigan assisted by Drew Morgan, the Sting would go to the 3rd up by one. In the 3rd Tim Kaldeway would score his second of the game hooking up with Marco DiFederico and Zach Van Eyk. Regardless of the Panthers tying the game with two goals in the 3rd Cole Lauzon played another strong game in net for the Sting.

Jr Sting 4 vs Sun County 5

Home at the SSEC for game 2 the Sting would start the scoring. Brett Corrigan would finish the play from Dillon (catch me if you can) Saunders and Cory Lucier. In the 2nd Zach Van Eyk would add to the lead from Cory Lucier and Adam Craievich. The Panthers would tie the score by the end of the 2nd and go ahead by two in the third before Zach Van Eyk and Tim Kaldeway would hook up together with a great passing play to feed Adam Craievich alone in front. With under a minute left in the game and the goalie pulled the Sting tried to mount a charge but the Panthers would put one in the empty net. Not ready to throw in the towel, the coach would open the stable door and release the Italian Stallion. Marco DiFederico would score with only 23 seconds left in the game assisted by Jeffrey Williams and Blain Adams. The Sting would not have enough on this day but it was a strong effort and game for the team.

Mar 2nd

Back to Windsor for game 3 and our 3rd meeting in 3 days the Sting would play catch up hockey all game. Scoring for the Sting in the 1st, Dillon Saunders from Zach Van Eyk and Cory Burr. In the 2nd Dillon Saunders would attack again unassisted. Still in the 2nd Zach Van Eyk would finish off a nice pass from Brett Corrigan and Sam McCormack. In the 3rd Zach Van Eyk would start the play feeding the puck to Adam Craievich and then to Tim Kaldeway for the finishing moves to bury the puck deep in the Panthers net.
