We my not have got on the score
board but that doesn't mean we
stayed off the score sheet. We
worked hard but the Knights picked
away at the Sting in all 3 periods.
The Sting had their chances with Tim
Kaldeway ringing the crossbar a
number of times and a couple of
posts but unable to beat the Knights
goaltending on this day.

The game remained scoreless
until 0.6 seconds in the 1st when
Dillon Saunders ripped the slapper
past the Chiefs goalie. Assisting on
the goal was Adam Craievich.
Saunders continued his strong play
throughout the game with a number of
chances but was denied. Brendon
Johnston played strong for the Sting
making big saves in the game. Than
the game turned. It remained close
until the 9 minute mark of the 3rd
when the Chiefs scored 3 quick goals
in a minute span to douse the hopes
of the Sting.
