Entering in to the weekend with high
hopes for a weekend sweep. It appears we
may have dropped the broom. The return
of Brett Corrigan was a welcomed sight
for the team after Corrigan had been
sidelined for the past couple of weeks
with injury. The strong play of Tim
Kaldeway continued as he put the Sting
on the board in the 2nd assisted by
Brett Corrigan and Dillon Saunders. In
the 3rd and Sun County up by two, Dillon
Saunders turned on the boosters leaving
the Sun County defence in the dark and
with a great shot over the goalie
bring the team within one. That would be
all we had for the day.

It
felt like a carbon copy of the day
before with the Spit's also scoring in
each of the periods and the Sting only
in the 2nd and 3rd. Lambton's 2nd period
goal scored by Adam Craievich was the
results of the hard work of his line
mates. The second goal for Lambton was
scored by Dillon Saunders as he was in
perfect position to finish off the play
for his 2nd of the weekend. Assisting on
the goal was Adam Craievich and Tim
Kaldeway.
