JR Sting VS Hamilton

The team
traveled down the 402, 401 and the 403 to
take down the Hamilton Reps in Hamilton.
The Rep's took an early lead but the Sting
add one from Adam Craievich. With 18 seconds
left Hamilton take the lead once again.
The battle in the second period was back and
forth and if not for the excellent play of
Cole Lauzon in goal the game may have taken
a turn for the worst. With only 7.7 seconds
remaining in the 2nd Jeffrey Williams buries
the puck behind the Hamilton goalie assisted
by Zach Van Eyk. With less than a second
left in the period, Hamilton struck again
leaving the Sting down one going into the
3rd. When you work hard shift after shift it
is going to pay off and it did. Marco
DiFederico took a feed from Sam McCormack
and broke lose from the pack firing the puck
and bulging the twine to even the score at
3-3.
A great effort and persistence paid off for
Dillon Saunders with the feed from Adriano
Fuoco putting the Sting ahead for the first
time in the game. Adding an insurance goal
was Jeffrey Williams assisted by Sam
McCormack and Cory Burr to help seal the
deal for the Lambton Sting. Final score 5-3
