Sting 1 vs St Louis Blues 5
Facing the topped ranked team in North America for game one. The Sting played the Blues hard for 2.5 periods of play. The Blues took a 2-0 lead in the first 2 periods and the Sting responded with one of our own to keep the game with in striking distance. Sting goal scored by Adam Craievich standing alone in front of the Blues net. The play started with a pass from Dillon Saunders to Sam McCormack on the blue line. Sam with a great heads up play spotted Craievich in front of the net and placed right on his tape. In the 3rd the Blues would add 3 more unanswered.

Sting 2 vs Brampton Battalion 7
Facing the Battalion in a previous meeting with success, this day would not be one of them. Scoring for the Sting, Brett Corrigan assisted by Adriano Fuoco and Cory Lucier. Second goal and keeping in is scoring ways Tim Kaldeway assisted by Blain Adams and Zach Van Eyk.

Sting 3 vs Chicago Mission 1
Facing another top 10 team in North America the Sting proved that great team play is still hard for any team to compete against. In the first it was an Italian connection. Adriano Fuoco finished off a pass from Marco DiFederico to put the Sting on the board to even up the score. In the 2nd Adam Craievich put the Sting up by one with a feed from Blain Adams. Not letting up on the pressure the Sting held off Chicago in the 3rd and with only 35 seconds Blain Adams took a feed from Drew Morgan and headed down the ice facing one man and an open net. Making no mistake Blain buried the puck to add the insurance goal and assure a Sting win. Great game boys.

Next game: Sting vs London Knights Jan 26 and on Jan 27th Sting vs Elgin-Middlesex at the SSEC 12:15 start.
