Home/Home Series against London
December 22 - 23
The Lambton
Jr Sting AAA bantams played a home and
home with the London Jr Knights this
past weekend. Down in London, the Jr
Sting battled Jr Knights to a 1-1 tie.
London opened the scoring at the ten
minute mark of the first period with a
shorthanded goal. Lambton bounced back
quickly and scored the equalizer at 7:26
of the first period on a goal by Greg
Milner. Assists going to Adam
Arseneault and Ben Sokol.
These were the only goals of the game.
Sean Parker was fantastic in goal,
making several key saves to preserve the
tie. Back in Sarnia the following day,
the Jr Sting lost the Jr Knights by a
score of 2-1, giving up a late power
play goal with 4:24 left on the clock.
The Jr Sting battled the Jr Knights hard
and deserved the victory. In this game,
Lambton opened the scoring in the first
period on a nice goal from the stick of
Curtis Crombeen, from Thomas Moxley.
The Jr Knights fought back and scored
the equalizer late in the second and the
game winner late in the third to seal
the win over the Jr Sting. Colton James
was in goal and had a great game between
the pipes.
