The Lambton Jr Sting AAA bantams were back on track.  The team went 2-0-1 this past week, with wins over Windsor, 3 - 2, and Kitchener, 1 - 0, and there was a 0 - 0 tie against the league leading Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs.  In Windsor, the team took an early lead then held off the Jr Spitfires to come away with a 3 - 2 win.  The goal scorers were Thomas Moxley, Greg Milner and Adam Arseneault.  Assists going to Jordan Drury, Jordan Heisler, Thomas Flamminio, Jesse Ferguson and Ben Sokol.  In Sarnia, a first period goal by Brett Thompson was good enough for the Jr Sting, as they held on for the 1 - 0 victory over the Kitchener Jr Rangers.  The lone assist on the goal goes to Curtis Crombeen.  The shutout went to Colton James, who was great in goal.  Also, in Sarnia, Lambton battled the league leading Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs to a scoreless draw.  The boys played a great game and showed the Chiefs the war has just begun.  Sean Parker was excellent in goal and had the shutout.

The team is currently in second place in the overall standings with a 8-2-2 record and 18 points.  This weekend the boys are in Chatham on Saturday, then in Hamilton on Sunday.
