Hamilton 7- Lambton 1
After the thrilling win over London on Thursday night the Sting
came out flat against the Hamilton Reps at the SSEC on Sunday.
Hamilton came into the SSEC and left with two points in
convincing fashion. Lambton fell behind 3-0 after a first
period in which Hamilton dominated the Sting using a combination
of speed and skill that put Lambton back on their heels.
The Sting came out flying in the second period scoring a quick
goal by Rory Keane to close the gap to 3-1. Lambton controlled
the play for most of the period but couldn't find the back of
the net and couldn't close the gap trailing 4-1 after two
periods.
Hamilton added an early goal at the start of the 3rd period that
took the life out of the Sting and ran away with a 7-1 win.
Lambton regroups this week with games against Elgin-Middlesex on
Thursday night and a key matchup with Windsor on Sunday
afternoon at the SSEC. |
