Lambton AAA Sting Minor Atoms – Tough Weekend 
December 8 - 9, 2007

The Jr Sting hosted the Waterloo Wolves  on Saturday at the SSEC and despite the fact that the game looked competitive the visiting squad was able to walk away with an 8-0 victory over the Sting. The Sting hardhat went to Franco Sproviero who put in a valiant effort but like the rest of his teammates was unable to find the mesh behind the Ranger netminder.

On Sunday the Jr Sting traveled to Goderich to tangle with the hard-hitting Huron Perth Lakers. The Sting jumped out to an early first period lead but it would be two full periods before they lit the red lamp again and fell to the home squad by a score of 4-2. Registering both goals for the Lambton squad was Sproviero and picking up single assists were Isaac McLean and Alec Dekoning. The Sting hardhat for player of the game was split by Bert Thorpe and Patrick Wright for their stellar efforts in the contest.
