Semi-Finals vs.
Kitchener Jr. Rangers
Game 1
Lambton Jr.
Sting were host to the Kitchener Jr.
Rangers Saturday for the first game of
the series. After a scoreless first
period, Lambton managed to finally find
the net. Scoring two in the second and
three more in the third period, Lambton
allowed only two goals to take the first
game of the series at 5 - 2. Scoring
for Lambton was Michael Gray (2), Nathan
Mater (2) and Josh Moore (1). Assisting
were Dylan Cooper, Nathan Mater (2),
Daniel Bowling, Michael Gray and Tim
Tannahill. Andrew Ganter gets the win.
Game 2
Lambton
travelled to Kitchener Sunday for the
second game of the series. Scoring in
the first period was Daniel Bowling,
assisted by Josh Moore and Ryan Rupert.
Lambton's second goal came from Ryan
Rupert with assists from Nathan Mater
and Tyler McGregor. Hunter Johnson gets
the win with a shut-out and Lambton
takes a 2 - 0 lead in the series.
The
semi-final series play continues next
Saturday, with Kitchener back in Sarnia at
the SSEC at 2:45 pm. |
