Reps Shut Out Jr. Sting
November 16, 2007
The
Jr. Sting travelled to Hamilton
Friday night to take on the
Reps. They came out of the
gates flying, taking it to the
Reps. Three back-to-back
penalties in the first period
seemed to take away their
momentum. Hamilton scored on
the power play in the
second period. They owned the
third; scoring two more for a 3
- 0 victory.
One of the bright lights for the
Jr. Sting was defenseman Jake Janicek.
Janicek did his part,
high-lighted by winning a foot
race to foil a Hamilton break
away.
Next action for the Jr. Sting is
on the road to Windsor Friday
night against the Sun County
Panthers. Puck drops 7:30pm at
the Ice Park.
