Jr.
Sting Eke a Tie from Chatham
October 17, 2007
The Jr.
Sting were fortunate to escape
Chatham with a tie Wednesday night
at Memorial Arena. The Cylones held
a 2 - 1 lead late in the third
period. Kalvin Thornton scored his
second of the game with 1:43
remaining on a rebound from Steve Farlow's
point shot. Zach Anderson
assisted. Thorton's other goal came
in the first when Jake Janicek's
point shot deflected off his leg.
Defense played a key role in this
one with both goals originating from
the point.
The Jr. Sting are back on the ice
Friday night when the Hamilton Reps
visit Sarnia. Puck drops 7:45pm at
the SSEC.
