Lambton Jr. Sting split the opening weekend with Chatham at a game apiece.

A combination of injuries and penalty issues creating a first game loss by a score of 3 - 1.Declan Mayo had Lambton’s loan goal in game one with Ryan Woods and Brett Storr working the puck out of their own zone.

In game two, the Jr. Sting ramped up the scoring taking the Cyclones to a 4-2 victory. Lambton’s Hunter Tyczynski started the rampage with excellent puck work from Kraig Durco and defenseman Brett Storr. The Cyclones tied the game up at one apiece, closing the first period.
 

In the second period Kraig Durco fired the puck past a lazy Chatham goal tender. Mitchell Bigras and Brett Storr inked assists for their efforts. Hunter Tyczynski hustled down the ice to collect his second goal of the game from a great pass from Bryn Williams.
 

Lambton iced the cake as Hunter Tyczynski collected a hat trick and assists went to John McGuire and Connor Black.

Lambton plays game three at the SSEC on Saturday at 1:30pm
