September 22-23rd

Lambton versus Hamilton

Lambton started the game on fire, banging in two quick goals in the first minute of play. Hamilton couldn’t respond from the sudden burst of excitement from the Lambton bench.

Lambton started the game with Connor Black feeding Johnny McGuire with the first marker at 9:50. The second goal came seconds later at 9:08 with Bigras rushing the net and assisting was Black and Hunter Tyczynski.  Hamilton answered back with a goal when Lambton received a penalty and was down a man. Next, Bailey Nethercott collected the puck at center ice and went in for the 3rd goal unassisted to conclude the first period 3-1 Lambton.

In the second period, Hamilton attacked Lambton hard and collected their second goal coming within one. This goal had some goal tender inference but the goal ended up on the scoreboard.

Adam Wammes teed up Lambton’s fourth goal at 8:20, stretching the lead back to two goals on a power play. Lambton’s 5th goal came moments later when Tyczynski and Bigras fed Hunter Bryce with Lambton’s 5th goal to end two periods of play.

The third period ended up being very disappointing as the 5-2 lead slipped away with three un answered goals in the third to make the final 5-5 tie.

Lambton versus Windsor

Lambton started the game out strong with the first period concluding at 2-0 Windsor.

The second period showed no change on the scoreboard as Lambton or Windsor wanting to take charge. In the third period Lambton again gave up 3 un answered goals to receive a shellacking from the Spitfires 5-0. Lambton’s goaltender Cornell Felder saved other prime opportunities keeping the score to a minimum.
