played host
to Petrolia
Sunday
afternoon at
the Moore
Sports
Complex and
skated away
with a 6-2
victory.
The Storm
were
cruising
along with a
3-0 lead
late in the
2nd period
when
Petrolia
scored once
to end the
2nd and then
added
another
early in the
3rd to cut
the gap to
3-2.
Mooretown
then scored
3 unanswered
goals to
post the
"W".
Jared Pageau
paced the
scoring
attack with
3 goals and
an assist.
Daniel
Wellington
and Nolan
Farr
each added a
goal and an
assist.
Elijah
Contreras
also scored
a goal.
Bailey
Smalls,
Jacinda
Buglar Aaron
Dobson and
Josh
Barraclough
all chipped
in with
assists.
Ben Dupont
got the
start in net
and played
the first
half of the
game and did
not allow a
goal.
It was Ben's
best game of
this young
season. Emma
McCormick
played the
2nd half and
after coming
in cold made
some big
saves.
A great game
was played
by
defenceman
Cade Robbins
who is rock
solid back
on the blue
line.
