On Monday Feb 04 Petrolia pulled out a victory but not without a close call they beat Mooretown Black 3-2 only after tying the game mid-way thru the 3d period on a Penalty shot which was scored by Dallas Smith and then the game winner with 35 seconds left by Jesse Vanderwal
 
Feb 11th we had another close game beating Mooretown Yellow by a score of 3-2 and again we fell behind in the first only to fight our way back in the second and then scoring the go ahead goal at the end of the second period. Defense shone thru in the third especially when Mooretown pulled their goalie with 1 1/2 minutes left.
