The Novice Oilers
hosted the Harrow Rams on Saturday, in
what was expected to be a very spirited
game as the Rams are a quick and
physical team. The Novice Oilers did not
disappoint the home town crowd , in what
probably was one of their best games of
the season, as they skated to a 7-2 win.
The play of the game
came in the 3rd period when Jack Hackett
fired a great pass, splitting the two
Harrow defensemen, to a streaking Noah
Myers who skated in on on a breakaway
and fired high over the goalies glove to
seal Harrow's fate. Joey Friesen made
some timely saves and played a strong
game in net for the Oilers.
