Petrolia takes another loss

The Squires took another loss on Friday night when the visiting Windsor Saints team skated away with a 5 - 2 victory.  The Squires took the lead in the first period by scoring the lone goal by Scott Hull assisted by Ryan Chapman and Jason Hawes.  In the second period the Saints scored 3 unanswered goals to take the 3 - 1 lead heading into the third.  Windsor scored the first goal in the third period to widen the lead by 3.  Late in the period at 17:29 Joe Suave scored the Squires 2nd goal and in the attempt to even things up the Squires pulled their goalie for the extra man, however Windsor found the opening to finish the game off with the empty netter and to take the game with a final score of  5 - 2.

The Squires are back in action on Sunday as they travel to Windsor for the second game of the home/home series.  Their final home game before the holidays is on December 16 with a game time of 7:30 against Brantford.
