Petrolia lost to Windsor

The Squires hosted the Windsor Saints in the first of 2 weekend home/home series games.

Windsor scored 5 unanswered goals in the first period and never looked back as they defeated the Squires with a final score of 8 - 4.

Both sides scored 2 goals in the 2nd period with Jason Polera and Joe Sauve scoring for Petrolia.  In the 3rd period Chris McPhail scored a powerplay goal and Jason Hawes put another in for the Squires but it wasn't enough even with the extra man attacker in the final minutes as Windsor scored into the empty net for the final goal.

Windsor had a total of 47 shots on net - the Squires totaled 29. 

The Squires are on the road Sunday for their second meeting with the Saints in Windsor. Game time 7:00 pm.
