The Squires losing slump continues as they took a 6 - 4 loss against the Tilsonburg Vipers in Petrolia on Friday night. Last weekend they lost to Brantford in a close contest by a score of 4 - 3 and in Windsor they lost 8 - 3.
On Firday the Vipers went up 3 - 1 after the first period with Jason Polera scoring the single goal for the Squires. Both sides were scoreless in the second period and in the third Tillsonburg added a pair of goals. The Squires battled back and scored 3 in the third to narrow the score to 5 - 4. In the final minute the Squires pulled their goalie only to have the Vipers hit the empty net to finish the game with a 6 - 4 final. Scoring in the third for the Squires were Joe Sauve, Ryan Chapman and Jason Polera with his second of the night. Darryl Foster was in net for the Squires making a total of 44 saves. Brett Leggat was in for the win with a total of 53 saves.

at home next weekend with 2 games the first on
Friday when they host Windsor at 8:00 and then on
Sunday at 7:30 against Brantford. |
