Mooretown AE/Rep Tournament Nov. 8-11

The Point Edward Midget Hockey Team participated in the Mooretown Storm Hockey tournament this past weekend.

Game 1 - Thur Nov 8
In game 1 the Point Boys defeated Mooretown #1 by a score of 3 - 2.

Braedan MacKenzie scored two goals while Dylan White scored the other goal. Jake Cicchini had two assists and Kyle Conroy had a single assist.

Game 2 - Friday Nov 9

In the second game they defeated Mooretown #2 with a final score of 7 - 0.
Trevor Toll was on his game with four goals, Kyle Conroy had two goals and Jesse Cicchini had a single goal and a single assist. Single assists also went to Zak Gilroy, Jacob Bourrie, Cody Brown, Jake Cicchini and Jackson Gray.

Game 3 - Nov. 10/07

With a game each now Mooretown 1 won against Point Edward Midget Blackhawks with a score of 4-2. The Point boys did not fare too well this time around, the referees whistle blew frequently, but most of the time against Point Edward.

Jake Cicchini scored the first goal, assisted by Braedan MacKenzie and Peter DeWitt. The second was unassisted by Kyle Conroy.

Game 4 - Nov. 11/07

It was an early morning for the Point boys but they finished with another win against the Mooretown 2 Midget team with a score of 7-1.

Craig Eyre had two goals and one assist. Kyle Conroy had two goals. Zak Gilroy had a goal and an assist. Single goals went to Braedan MacKenzie and Trevor Toll. Two assists went to Thomas Courtemanche and Jacob Bourrie. Singles assists to Cody Brown, Jake Cicchini, Jackson Gray and Jesse Cicchini.

Championship Game Point Edward vs. Mooretown 1

November 11, 2007

The Point Boys played five excellent games, losing only once, to capture the Local League division. The final score was 4-0. Jesse Cicchini had a goal and an assist. Craig Eyre, Kyle Conroy, and Braedan MacKenzie each scored a goal towards the win. An assist went to Trevor Toll, and Jackson Gray.

All in all the Point Boys had a great weekend. Good work boys!
