fans
left
the
arena
in a
happy
mood.
The
winning
goaltender
was
John
Faulkner
who
picked
up
his
11th
win
of
the
season.
Suffering
his
10th
loss
in
net
for
Chatham
was
Mike
Ostropolec.
1st
Period:
The
game
began
with
two
players
sent
to
the
penalty
box
for
10
minute
misconducts
so
Chatham
was
without
the
services
of
Dave
Morden
and
Sarnia
didn't
have
Justin
Young.
Sarnia
took
two
penalties
and
killed
them
off
successfully
followed
by
three
taken
by
the
Maroons.
The
final
two
were
taken
52
seconds
apart
as
Brett
Hope
was
off
for
tripping
and
Jake
McKillop
served
a
bench
minor
for
too
many
men.
Chatham
survived
being
short
by
two
but
gave
up a
power
play
with
five
seconds
remaining
on
the
bench
minor.

of

puck
and
fed
it
to

who
made
no
mistake
in
lighting
the
lamp
for
an
empty
net
goal.
The
Blast
finished
the
game
on
the
power
play
as
Kyle
Carneiro

Chatham
took
a
cross
checking
minor
with

remaining.
It
was
the
only
penalty
taken
this

and
the
Blast
didn't
capitalize
on
it.
