Sunday November 11

Sarnia met up with the undefeated London Gold  and lost 4-3.  It was an action packed game with back and forth goals by both teams and the end of the second period saw a 2-2  tie.  Sarnia’s Alex McEachern score the first period goal on a breakaway passed off from Sam Jasmin.   McEachern was tripped but able to tip in the puck as he went down.  The second period saw Sarnia’s Dan Lumley score the second goal assisted by Chris Taylor and Joel Acton.   Sarnia’s Joel Acton scored in the third period to break the tie.
London’s third goal was scored following an intentional offside by London that went “unnoticed” by the referees.   London’s last goal at the end of the third was a result of Sarnia’s goalie Vince Amodeo being ‘high sticked’ in the head by a London forward just before their defense fired a shot from the point into the net.
