games
The
Sarnia Sting Minor Midget were
busy last week with 4 games in 5
nights. The first game found
them in London for a late night
game against the nights. It was
a goal frenzy for both teams,
and when the dust settled it was
London on top by a score of
10-7. Sarnia at one point in the
game was down 9-3 before making
a game of it. Scoring for Sarnia
was Denver Spearman, Eric Hick
and Jared Milberry with 2 goals
each, Brandon Moore added a
single.
On
Friday night the Sting was home
to the visiting Rangers from
Kitchener for game one of a home
and home series. With the score
tied at 1-1 after the first,
Sarnia exploded for 4 goals in
the second and 2 more in the
3rd. Final score was 7-4 in
favor for Sarnia. Spearman and
Moore again lead the Sarnia

going to Kyle Ferguson, Eric
Hicks, Ryan Jennings, Jared
Milberry and Jake Currie. Jeff
Hodgson had a solid effort in
his first game as an AP player.
Sarnia then traveled to
Kitchener for the return game.
Sarnia scored goals in all three
periods displaying a balanced
offensive attack. Spearman and
Moore continued their furious
scoring pace each netting two
goals again for the second

On
Sunday the Sting were on the
road again to Woodstock for the
third game in as many nights.
The Sting were firing on all
cylinders early and jumped out
to a 5-0 lead. Woodstock managed
just 1 goal against Ben Johnson
coming while the Sting were
short handed. Johnson played
very steady in all three games
this weekend picking up the
three wins. Spearman was at it
again adding another two goal
effort for the fourth straight
game. Ryan Dayman added two of
his own with Graeme Wattie
rounding out the scoring.
Jeffery Schroeter had two

well defensively.
