Sat. Feb. 23 -
Sarnia v. Cambridge. Score 3 - 1 (make up game for Feb. 17
game that was cancelled due to weather)
First game of the Playdowns. Sarnia was down one to zero
going into the third period. Two minutes into the final
period Dylan MacQueen scores with assists from Taylor Janzen
and Riley Roberts. Roberts followed with a goal assisted by
Ryan Devine on the power play. Roberts scores again sealing
the win with assists by MacQueen and Brad Campbell.
Sun. Feb. 24 -
Cambridge v. Sarnia. Score 3 - 4
Cambridge scored two goals and were up going into the
second period. Ryan Devine scored in the second period to
close in on the gap. In the third period, Alex Lambkin ties
it up with assists from Riley Roberts and Graeme Brunet. The
tie is short lived, Cambridge scores 20 seconds later. With
just over two minutes left in the game Bradley Campbell
scores, assisted by Devine. The game goes into overtime.
Matthew Doidge takes and awesome pass from Campbell and puts
it in the net to take the win in the first minute of
overtime play. Sarnia now leads the series 2 - 0.
