Hamilton v. Sarnia - Tie Game - 5 - 5
Sarnia travelled to Hamilton for the
first game of the day. It was an exciting game. Hamilton was
up 3 - 0 going into the second period. It wasn't looking
good for Sarnia. Graeme Brunet scored the first goal
assisted by Dylan MacQueen in an attempt to get back in the
game. Then Riley Roberts assisted by MacQueen scored again.
We're back in the game!
Sarnia was on fire. Hamilton comes back
with another goal. It's 4-2 when Matthew Doidge assists
Jesse Marks' goal to close the gap. Sarnia's now down 4-3
and Riley Roberts with an assist from MacQueen ties up the
game in the last minute of play in the second period.
Hamilton scores their final goal with less than two minutes
left in the game, but their win was shut down by Dylan
MacQueen's goal assisted by Ryan Devine in the final 23
seconds.
Burlington v. Sarnia - 1 - 5
Sarnia travels on to Burlington from
Hamilton, not much time to spare between games. A quick
snack in the dressing room and their on their way. If the
team was tired from the first game you'd never know it. They
didn't let up. Winning the game 5 - 1. Graeme Brunet starts
off the game in the first period with the first goal
assisted by Bradley Campbell. Ryan Devine opens the second
period with his goal assisted by Brunet and Jeffrey Brown.
Matthew Doidge adds another. Two more goals follow in the
third period.
First one by Jesse Marks assisted by
Brunet and the next by Dylan MacQueen with assists from
Riley Roberts and Brent Blais. The defence team led by
goalie, Steven Taylor held off Burlington and only let one
goal through.
