Sarnia v. Kitchener 7 - 4Sarnia was off to a slow
start. The score was 0 - 2 when Alex Lambkin scored Sarnia's
the first goal in the last minute of play in the first
period. His goal was assisted by Ryan Devine and Daniel
Vallee.
Kitchener scored two more goals in the second period. Sarnia
was down 4-1, when out of nowhere they came back to life.
Two goals followed by Bradley Campbell, assisted by Riley
Roberts and Dylan MacQueen, and scored by Devine, assisted
by Roberts.
Kitchener was only up by one goal going into the third, now
was Sarnia's chance to catch up. Roberts tied up the game,
with assists by Taylor Janzen and Devine. The winning goal
was scored by Campbell, assisted by Matthew Doidge and
Stephen Blysniuk. It wasn't enough to win by one goal. Two
more goals followed, scored by Matthew Laird assisted by
Doidge and Blysniuk with the final goal scored by Devine
with an assist from Graeme Brunet.
It was a great team effort, including an outstanding
performance from the defence team led by goalie, Steven
Taylor.
