Back to Back Wins for the Jr. Sting!
January 5 - 6, 2008

The Jr. Sting played back to back games against Woodstock. On Saturday January 5^th and on Sunday January 06^th a make up game against Woodstock from December 16^th, in both games the Sting played as a cohesive unit. Both victories where as a team! In the Saturday game the Jr. Sting came out strong against the Navy Vets after a two week lay off over Christmas. The Sting dominated the play only allowing one shot on net in the first period. The first Goal for the Sting came from Chris Mulholland and assisted by Cole Dodge, the second from Rory Jones assisted by Keith Manery, the third was from Jordan Pavey assisted by Keith and Rory, the fourth goal was by Rory Jones assisted by Jordan and Keith, the fifth was by Jack Chapman assisted by Michael Pearce and Storm Astolfi, the Sixth was by Rory Jones and assisted by Jordan and Keith the seventh goal was scored by Cole Dodge and assisted by Keith Manery. Way to go Keith that was 5 assists in the game and a hat trick for Rory in this 7-1 victory. And Mat Szabo was strong in goal.

            On Sundays game Woodstock came out stronger than there previous game but they where still no match for the Jr. Sting. The Sting held Woodstock to only three shots on net in the entire game and they where just dump inn’s Noah Melanson had to try and stay awake in this game. The team played great in front of him. The first three goals came from Jack, Jordan and Jakob the J’s where all on fire. Assists came from Cole and Michael on the first goal and Austin assisted in the second and Cole assisted on the third. The fourth goal came from Colin Osler unassisted. The fifth came from Jakob Washington assisted by Cole Dodge and Trevor Forsten, the sixth from the point was Michael Pearce and assisted by Colin, the seventh goal was scored by Storm Astolfi and assisted by Richard McIntosh and Colin Osler. With the final score being 7-0.
