The Sarnia JR. Sting came out of the gates strong on Thursday November 15^th and peppered the Oakridge Aero’s Goaltender but he kept the Sting off the board in the first period. The first period ended with no scoring. The Aero’s picked up the first goal in the second period and outplayed the sting thru most of the second period but our defense held strong. But late in the period the Sting’s Cole Dodge got his first goal of the night assisted by Michael Pearce. Cole Dodge late in the second period got his second goal of the night assisted by Michael Pearce and Austin Cooper. Then in the third period Storm Astolfi put the game to bed with a third period goal assisted by Jack Chapman and Colin Osler. The final score was 3-1 for the Jr. Sting. Mat Szabo kept us in the game during the second period. Way to go Mat.
