The Jr Sting advanced to the second round of playoffs after defeating West London
in 2 games.  In round 2 they met up with league rivals the Woodstock Navy Vets
 for game 1 where the Jr. Sting suffered a loss by a score of 2 - 1.

 In the first period both sides went scoreless.
Woodstock took a 2 - 0 lead in the second period with both goals being scored on
powerplays.  In the third Adam Marshall scored for Sarnia assisted by Cam Waters
to narrow the lead.  Woodstock would regain the 2 point spread in the third after
scoring their third goal.  With several "close ones" hitting the posts and too many
penalties Sarnia couldn't make the comeback. 
Mitch Core was outstanding in net for the Sting.
