It was a major upset in Round 2 of the Playoff series as the Sarnia Jr Sting Midgets
defeated the league leading Woodstock Navy Vets in Woodstock Tuesday night.

Both sides were even with a game apiece heading into the final game of the series.
Sarnia would take a 1 - 0 lead at the end of the first period with Adam Marshall scoring
assisted by Cam Waters and Chris Moore.  The Sting would take a 2 - 0 lead in the
second after scoring a powerplay goal with Marshall scoring his second goal of the game.
Chris Moore got the assist on the goal.  Woodstock fought back and scored 2 goals
the first a powerplay goal to tie things heading into the third period.

Both sides battled back and forth and with 8:11 left on the clock Chris Moore scored
assisted by Adam Marshall to take a 3 - 2 lead.  With intense action throughout the
period Sarnia held on for the win the game and the series!

Goaltending duties were share by Mitch Core and Mike Ward.

The Jr Sting now move on to the Championship Series - schedule TBA.
