Sarnia vs West London

Sarnia took their first win of the season in London on
Sunday with a final score of 7 - 1 against West London.
Sarnia went up 2 - 0 after the first with both goals being
scored by JD Gaulin, the first being scored on a powerplay. In
the second they went up 3 - 0 with Kyle Solness scoring on the
Sting second powerplay goal assisted by Trevor Coady. London
answered back with a 3 on 5 man advantage but the Sting
recovered as Trevor Coady scored closing the period with the
score at 4 - 1. Assisting on Coady goal were Andrew
Blokzyl and Joe DelBen.
In the third Sarnia scored three unanswered goals to finish the
game with the 7 - 1 final. Scoring in the third were
Andrew Blokzyl who scored shorthanded assisted by Sean Smith.
Smith went on
and scored another shorthanded goal unassisted and the final was
also on a shorthanded goal for JD Gaulin who scored his third of
the game for the hat trick. Mitch Core played well making
many key saves in the win. |
