In an extremely
fast-paced and well-played game, the Sarnia
Minor Bantam MD handily defeated their hosts,
the SSEC Wild, with a score of 5-3.The first two
periods were filled with some very intense back
and forth play until Sarnia moved ahead and
sealed the high scoring game for the win.
Ensuring that Sarnia's net was clear of goals,
goalie Duncan Gibson-Lockhart made some
spectacular saves to keep them in the game.
Making
the impressive score possible were Spencer
Lindsay, Mike Brown, Jamie Vandenberg, Dalton
Pickett & Chris Pamenter with one goal each and
rounding out the team effort were Kurtis
Buckeridge, Jamie Alves, Harrison McCrie, Joe
Frayne & Shawn Master with the all-important
assists.
