Sarnia vs Stratford
March 3, 2008
In the last game of regular
season play, Sarnia Minor Bantam MD handily defeated the
Stratford Warriors with a score of 5-1 to once again ensure
their position as first place team in the league.
Sarnia controlled the game from
start to finish. Standing strong in net for Sarnia was Evan
McDougall who easily kicked away the many scoring attempts
by Stratford. The unrelenting battery of scores for the
Sarnia team went to Clay Walker with two goals, Jamie
Vandenberg also with two goals and Shawn Master with
one. Rounding out the action, assists were offered by Ryan
Krasinkiewicz with two, Chris Pamenter, Michael Hummell,
Shawn Master, Clay Walker & Jamie Vandenberg. Special
mention should also be made for the excellent blocking moves
by Sarnia's defensive lines.
Sarnia will now take a short,
well-deserved break, before representing the league in the
MD Championships in Hamilton on April 11, 12 & 13.
