The Sarnia Junior Sting Minor
Bantam MD Team had to settle for a tie Tuesday, October 30th
when they traveled to London to face the North London
Nationals at the Carling Arena. The final score was 3-3.
The Sting lead in the first period with a score of 2-0.
Clay Walker and Jamie Alves scored each with Spencer Lindsay
picking up assists on both goals. The Sting ran into
penalty problems giving the Nationals the opportunity to
score two powerplay goals. Jamie Vandenberg rounded the net
and scored an unassisted goal. Evan McDougall once again
had another strong game in net.
The second place Sting travel to
Stratford on November 4th to play the first place Stratford
Warriors.
