Burlington Tournament
The Minor Midget MD team competed in their first tournament of
the year in Burlington. In the first game they faced Alliston
and were successful wining 3-0. The first goal scored by Jordan
Williams assisted by Mark Johnson and Matt Ward.
2nd goal Mark Johnson assisted by Mat Ward and Josh Warner.
3rd Goal Scott MacEachern assisted by Ben Thompson and Chris
Losier, Seth Hellinga got the shut out in the net.
In the second game they face their league rival Tier one team
from West London.
Sarnia lead most the game by one goal but was unable to hold
on losing 4-2.Matt Dawson had an excellent game in net.
Goal scorers were Kyle Buckeridge and Josh Warner with
assists from Mark Johnson and 2 from Ben Thompson.
In the third game they faced Waterloo who were the eventual
tournament winners in a very close checking game but came out in
the end losing 2-1. The goal was scored Jordan Williams assisted
by Ben Thompson and Kyle Buckeridge with a strong game by Seth
Hellinga between the pipes.
