Novice Tier 1
are undefeated in 3 straight!
Dec. 1, 2007
The Sarnia Novice
Tier 1 travelled to Woodstock on
Saturday afternoon and played a
strong game coming away with a 5-3
win.
The game was a
little more controlled then the
previous 2 meetings but you could
still tell These
teams don’t see eye to eye. Early
in the 1st period Sarnia
took a slashing penalty and
were a
man down. This actually created 2
goals. The first one for the good
guys, as Cameron
Rannie
scored a nice shorthanded goal
assisted by Dante Fuoco. The second
was a powerplay
marker by Woodstock. Shortly after
that, Nic
Discanno made it 2-1 with the assist
going to Ryan Brown. Before the end
of the 1st Dante Fuoco
scored a
powerplay goal from Max
Steeves and Cameron
Rannie.
In the second
period, Woodstock cut the lead by
one to make it 3-2. Before the end
of the second period Max Steeves
found the twine once again assisted
by Dante Fuoco.
In the third the
teams exchanged goals again, as
Nic
Discanno scored assisted by Ryan
Brown. The end result was 5-3.
Excellent play by
Dante Fuoco whose efforts rewarded
him with a 3 point game. That is
now 3 in a row undefeated.
Lets keep
the streak alive boys!
