Novice Tier 1
visit LMHA Thunder- Kelly Shines
Dec. 12, 2007
The Sarnia Novice
Tier 1 travelled to home of the
LMHA Thunder and played one of there
best games of the season despite
playing shorthanded 18 minutes of
the game, including two 5 on 3’s.
Right from the
get-go the boys applied pressure on
the Thunder and played most of the
period in their end. They had many
chances to score but just couldn’t
find the net. Late in the 1st
period, Cameron Adam finally after
at least 3 consecutive shots on net
lit the light with a bank hander,
assisted by Brett Allardyce.
The second period
saw more aggressive play by the boys
and some great effort from our
defense.
In the third
period LMHA would tie the game,
however, this was overshadowed by
some exceptional goaltending by
Patrick Kelly. By far, his best
game of the season… Patrick stood on
his head, making many key saves and
ultimately saving the tie for the
team, which actually deserved the
win!
Terrific game
boys! Definitely the most
entertaining one to date…can’t wait
until Saturday!
