Sarnia Jr. Sting Novice MD Tier 1
Exhibition vs Petrolia Oilers

The Sarnia Jr. Sting Novice Tier 1 team were in action again on October 6^th at the Germain Arena as the faced the  Petrolia Oilers in an exhibition tilt.  The Sting came away with a convincing 9-3 win.

 

This was a very fast paced game from start to finish, as both teams skated very well.  Although the Petrolia goalie made  some fine plays, Sarnia was about was able to put 2 high shots in to end the period 2-0.

 

The action continued in the 2^nd period which saw Sarnia go up 4-1, thanks to 2 breakaway saves that kept Petrolia at bay.

 

The 3^rd period saw more goals by both teams including a shorthanded marker by Sarnia.  The game ended 9-3.  Hats off to Ben Schoch who played an excellent defensive game.
