Novice MD
Tier 2 lack "pick up & go"
The Sarnia
Jr. Sting Novice MD Tier 2 travelled to
Kinsmen Arena Wednesday evening to take
on the West London Hawks. The team was
coming off their 2nd league win of the
season, so the Sarnia fans were hoping
for a good game.
Sting were
on the board first mid way through the
first period with a goal from Brett
Brydges. Assisting on the play was
Nolan DeGurse. London would tie the
game at 1 with at short handed goal with
49.1 seconds remaining in the period.
London would not quit and found the back
of the net again before the end of the
period to go ahead 2-1.
London continued to "give it to the
Sting" and would score 3 more goals
before the final buzzer sounded. Final
score 5-1 for the Hawks.
Next action
for the team is Sunday, January 20th
when they travel to Woodstock to take on
the Jr. Navy Vets at 5:30 pm.
