Novice MD Tier 2
lost a close one in playoff action
The Sarnia Jr.
Sting Novice MD Tier 2 team played host to
the London Devilettes in their first round
of league playoffs on Tuesday night at
Sarnia Arena.
The first period remained
scoreless. London took a 1-0 lead in the
second period with a goal at 2:29. The
Sting would tie the game at 6:51 of the
third period with a goal from Brett
Brydges. Assisting on the play was Dawson
Young and Carson Payne. The Devilettes
would take the lead at 5:27. Although the
Sting did out shoot the girls they were
unable to get the equalizer. Final score
2-1 for the Devilettes.
Game two of the
series is Thursday, March 20th, 6:30 pm at
Argyle Arena.
