Sarnia Jr. Sting Peewee vs.
Woodstock Navy Jets
Southwood & Clearwater Arenas
The Sarnia Jr. Sting Major Peewee’s
traveled to Woodstock on Saturday to play the newest addition to
the Forest City leagues Tier 2, the Navy Jets. Greg Loucks and
Chris Winch shared in the goaltending duties for the game.
The team came out flying and posted
an 11-1 win on goals by Chase Henne (3), Kyle Classen (2), Koen
Gendron (2), Garrett Deley (2), Justin Lindsay (1) and Michael
Kindrachuk (1).
On Sunday, the Navy Jets made their
way to the Clearwater Arena for another game. Again, the Sarnia
Major Peewee’s couldn’t be stopped. Greg Loucks and Chris Winch
shared the net minding again and earned a shutout.
Tristan Reeb opened the scoring
while Justin Lindsay got a hat trick. Matt Hodgins (2), Koen
Gendron (2), Chase Henne (1) and Garrett Deley (1) added goals
in a 10-0 win.
The next action for the Major Peewee
MD team is on Thursday, November 1st at 7:00 pm at the
Clearwater Arena. |
