Parsons saves the day and The Lady
Sting remain undefeated

The Sting kept
the unbeaten string alive this past weekend by posting a
1-1 tie with Stratford. The Sting waited until there was
only 40 seconds left when Naomi Parsons deked her way in
on net and picked the left hand corner. Assisting on the
tying goal were Kristin Parkes and Claire Vanden Eynde.
Bryanne Roberts almost scored the winner with less than
10 seconds left with a one timer off a beautiful pass
from Parkes, but it was not to be. Nicole Will stood out
in net, making many key saves.
The girls give a big
THANK YOU to Carolyn Prevost for paying them a visit at
last weeks practice. She was very helpful in sharing her
hockey skills and knowledge with the Atom girls. (I
think the parents and coaches were equally impressed) On
behalf of the entire team we would like to wish Carolyn
all the best at the upcoming Junior Championships in
Calgary next month.
