"A" "SHUT OUT" Hamilton on the Weekend.

Defense, Defense, Defense what more can I say. The Sting played host to the Hamilton Hawks on Saturday, playing 2 games. The Stingy Sting defense shut the Hawks out twice by identical 3-0 scores.

In the early game Lauren Wilson started the scoring early with assists from Bryanne Roberts and Leslie Brandon. Beatrice Dufour showed why we should always shoot the puck on net by scoring the next one from our own end. Nicole Will (goalie) gets the assist, and Naomi Parsons rounded out the scoring with assists to Wilson and Avery Devereaux. Picking up the shut out in net was Nicole Will.

The late game ended in the same score of 3-0. This time Naomi Parsons started things off with Meghan Blythe picking up the only assist. Kristin Parkes scored the second goal with assists coming to Sydney McDonald and Claire Vanden Eynde, and Avery Devereaux rounded out the scoring with Parsons and Wilson assisting.
 

Again the solid defensive play limited Hamilton to limited opportunities in both games. Naomi Dubs picked up the shut out in net.
