Petrolia Squires vs Monkton Wildcats

Like the score of 3 - 1 in Saturday nights game the Petrolia Squires now leads the series against the Monkton Wildcats with the same numbers.

In the first period both sides remained scoreless.  Powerplays in the second gave the Squires an edge as two of the three goals in the second were on powerplays.

First goal of the game was a powerplay goal scored by Danny Laroque from James Edgar and Lee Cole.
Criag LaFramboise scored the second goal unassisted and James Edgar scored the final Squire goal on the powerplay assisted by Danny Laroque and Jeremiah Goodacre.

Period three saw Monkton score their only goal when Perry Francis scored a powerplay goal from Kevin Ward and Tim Vosper.

Darryl Foster picked up his second weekend win making a total of 20 saves.  For Monkton Andrew Daub was in net making a total of 24 saves.

The two teams travel to Petrolia on Friday March 13 for game 5.  Game time is at 8:00 pm.
