The Squires won their 4th straight game when
they hosted the Clinton Radars on Friday
night.
Both sides went
scoreless in the first 2 periods and in the
3rd Clinton opened the scoring at 5:04 on a
powerplay goal scored by
Jim Bradley
from Tyler Elligsen & Mark Van Dooren.
Petrolia answered back at 5:21 when Chris
McPhail scored assisted by Kyle Gould & Kyle
Hills. Clinton regained the lead
scoring their second powerplay goal at 7:21
with Jim Bradley scoring his second goal of
the night with Luke Vick and Mark Van Dooren
assisting. Petrolia then tied things
up with their first powerplay goal of the
night at 11:38 from Lee Cole from Chris
McPhail. At 15:20 Petrolia took the
lead for the first time when Adam Abrahamson
scored assisted by Ryan Chapman. The
Squires would hold on to the lead to take
the win with a final score of 4 - 3.
Justin
Daywas in net for the win making a total of
20 saves with Greg Klatt making a total of
16 saves for Clinton.
The Squires are now 4 - 0 for the season
and look to continue the streak on Halloween
Night when they host the Exeter Mohawks at
8:00 pm at the Greenwood Recreation Centre. |
