Alvinston vs Shedden
 

The Alvinston Indians travelled to Fingal last evening, for a league matchup with the Shedden Mission.  Alvinston played a much improved game, then in game 1, and led for a good portion of the game.  A Calvin Miller Grand Slam for Shedden was too big of a blast for the Indians to over come in the late innings.  Doug Charlton took the loss in the game, while John Ferguson pitched 4 solid innings as the starter. 
 
Scoring for the Indians were Joe Triest (2), Shawn Fenton, Ryan Chapman, and Mark Saunders.  Driving in the runs were Scott D. Smith, Fenton, Chapman, and Saunders.  Joe Triest was 3/4 for the Indians, and Shawn Fenton was 2/4 with 2 doubles.
 
Next action for the Indians is Friday in Alvinston at 8:00pm, where they will strive to collect their first win.
