Last
evening the Alvinston Indians played host to the Belmont
Brewers, and pitchers Doug Charlton and Brad Young
combined for a one hitter in a 6-0 win for Alvinston.
Doug Charlton got credit for the win with 4 strikeouts,
while Brad Young was effective in relief allowing the
one hit to Brewer hitter Mike Maris. Young struckout 6
in relief.
Scoring for the Indians were Andy
Triest (2), Joe Triest, Scott Smith, Aaron Stocking and
Greg Fowler. Driving in the runs were Smith (2), Young
(2), Stocking, and Jamie Shields. Andy Triest, Greg
Fowler, and Scott Smith had multihit games for the
Indians in the win. |
