The Alvinston Indians traveled to Glencoe last evening, and suffered a 6-3 loss to the Astros. Alvinston played poor defence and allowed 4 unearned runs, and suffered their second loss of the season in league play. Lee Hopkins was the winning pitcher for Glencoe, while Brad Young suffered the loss on the mound for Alvinston. Alvinston fell behind 3-0 in the game, fought back to tie the game at 3, but then allowed three runs in the bottom of the 6th.
Alvinston gets back to work on Thursday, when they host the Shedden Mission.
