The Alvinston
Indians hosted the Shedden Mission Thursday night at
home, and the Indians sent veteran John Ferguson,
against Shedden starter Nic Goetz. Shedden finally
counted in the top of the third, and added another in
the fourth. Alvinston threatened in the third and fifth
inning, but left runners in scoring position, failing to
score. Shedden then added another making it 3-0. Aaron
Stocking then made the game close, when he smacked a two
run homerun for Alvinston, making the game close, at
3-2, but they failed to equal matters, and lost by one
run. Ferguson suffered the loss, while Goetz earned the
win for Shedden. Jeff Ingram had a hit and two walks for
Alvinston, while Andy Triest was 2-4.
